P2X Solutions, a Finnish pioneer of green hydrogen and Power-to-X technology, has signed an agreement on the Front-end Engineering Design (FEED) of a hydrogen production facility with Sweco. The design is carried out in cooperation with various stakeholders, and it includes technical design of the project, plant location, specification and tenders of the main equipment, and a permit review. Front-end Engineering Design will be completed by the end of 2021.

P2X Solutions has applied investment support from the national grant mechanisms for the first plant. After the investment decision, the company will start detailed design and procurement of the facility. The aim is to start construction work at the site in late 2022 and to commission the plant in2024.
