The conceptual design of P2X Solutions and the search for the location of the first electrolyzer plant have begun in co-operation with Rejlers Finland Oy.
The goal is to build a 20 MW electrolyzer plant, which will start producing green hydrogen with wind, solar or hydropower. Part of the green hydrogen will be refined utilizing Power-to-X technology, and by adding captured carbon dioxide, synthetic biofuels will be produced.
“It’s great to begin the conceptual design together with Rejlers Finland. The electrolyzer plant is an important step towards an emission-free Finnish welfare society,” says Herkko Plit, CEO of P2X Solutions Oy.
The aim is to have the equipment in operation by the end of 2024.
