P2X Solutions’ Harjavalta production plant has been granted the international ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) EU RFNBO certification, as the first in Finland.
The certification means that the Harjavalta production plant adheres to strict environmental and sustainability requirements in the production of green hydrogen and renewable fuels refined from it, which an external ISCC certification body has audited and verified.
“The certification is an internationally recognized proof that we are also a pioneer in green hydrogen in terms of quality standards. The certificate is an important step in creating a market for green hydrogen and clean fuels. I am very proud of this achievement, which P2X’s Greenteam has accomplished together,” states Herkko Plit, CEO of P2X Solutions.
With this certificate, P2X Solutions’ Harjavalta plant can supply customers with certified green RFNBO hydrogen and RFNBO methane, whose life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions are at least 70 percent lower than those of an equivalent fossil product.
